Run it by
“Run it by” 意思是把某个想法、计划或决定告诉某人，以获得他们的意见或批准。当你想寻求上司的建议与同意，或是想了解同事的看法时，就可以说你想把这件事 “run it by” 某人。

1/ “Before we finalize the proposal, I want to run it by the team to make sure everyone agrees.”

In the pipeline
“In the pipeline” 表示某个计划或项目正在进行中，还在 “pipeline”（管道）里面，尚未吐出完成。这个用语，通常用来描述正在发展或计划中的工作。

Back to square one
当你们忙了一场，最后却因为发生了某件事，所有努力全部白费、打掉重来，这时你就可以说，我们 “Back to square one”，意思是「回到原点」或「重新开始」，代表事情没有进展。

「客户拒绝我们的提案后，我们不得不重新开始。」
2/ “The technical issue forced us to go back to square one with our development process.”

Take it offline
“offline” 本身有「线下」的意思，但它用在职场环境中指的不一定和「网络」有关，而是「私下」。在办公室里，在讨论或处理某件事情，当下状况如果不适合或不方便时，你就可以说把当前的讨论或话题 “take it offline”，转到会议结束后或私下进行。
在会议上，如果有些话题太枝微末节，或是和主题不相关时，就可以说 “let's take it offline”，会后再讨论。

1/ “If we have more questions about the budget, let’s take it offline and discuss it after the meeting.”
